A Message from the Chair
It’s a great honor to serve as the Chair of the AISB Board of Trustees and to be part of the wonderful team of administrators, educators, staff, parents, organizational partners, and other community members who work so hard to support our students and make AISB a top international school. The Board has nine voting members. The U.S. Ambassador appoints the Chair. Our mandate is to support AISB’s director and oversee the school’s strategic plan, budget and funding decisions, and key strategic policies.
The Board meets monthly and has standing committees that convene on a regular basis. These committees include Governance, Finance, Facilities and Technology, Tuition Support, Advancement, and Advisory. They are chaired by a member of the Board and include representatives from our parent, faculty, and alumni communities. We welcome participation and feedback from all members of the AISB community.
We appreciate our partnership with School Director Rachel Caldwell and all of you as we seek to fulfill AISB’s mission: think fearlessly; act with kindness; shape tomorrow.
