Overall, our libraries house 32,000+ print volumes, many electronic databases, and professionals here to help with your information needs. 

The libraries are a vibrant place and sponsors a number of special events designed to promote reading and tap into our patrons’ multiple literacies. Reading promotions begin with Early Childhood and continue through Grade 12, and there is something for everyone! 

Literacy activities such as Reading Challenges, Book Bingo, Blind Date with a Book, and the Battle of the Books keep our students reading. The AISB Library staff are dedicated to building skills in multiple literacies and this encompasses information literacy embedded into the curriculum. We collaborate regularly with the classroom teachers and support ongoing research and student inquiries. Our goal is to actively engage in student learning!
