About Russell

Russell Croft  will be joining AISB in August 2022. Originally a PE teacher, Russ has experience in a number of Pastoral and Leadership roles including Department Head, AD, IB Coordinator, Head of Sixth Form, Head of Year and Dean of Students. Until June 2021, Russ was the Secondary Principal at AAS Sofia. He has a MSc in Educational Leadership and is looking forward to joining the AISB community.

He enjoys most sports (watching and occasionally playing!) and will be joined in Bucharest by his wife Liz and their Egyptian rescue dog Jess. Russ and Liz have two grown up children who are currently in the UK.
