About Jillian
Jillian Nichols joined the AISB team in 2019 as the Support Services Coordinator and the school’s designated safeguarding lead. In this role, she oversees school-wide Learning Support, English as an Additional Language and Counseling programming.
Jillian holds a Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Oregon and a Post-Masters certification in Educational Leadership. Jillian has been an educator, leader and advocate for students with additional social-emotional and learning needs for the past 16 years in Thailand, Kenya, Romania and her home country of the United States of America.
Her professional interests include developing sustainable inclusive programming, implementation of multi-tiered systems of support, co-teaching and positive behavioral supports. Jillian is from Oregon, is married with one son, and loves to travel.
