Under the leadership of Mrs. Rosella Diliberto, the new Early Learning Center brings together 110 children between 2 and 5 years old in a dynamic, custom-designed environment. A fantastic space, state-of-the-art facility, newly built and opened in August 2017, caters for our youngest learners. Our Early Learning students represent 29 nationalities, speak 24 languages, and are looked after by a 52-strong team of highly qualified specialized educators. In AISB’s Early Learning Center (ELC), we aspire to create the conditions for exceptional learning and teaching to take place, in a play-based environment designed exclusively with young learners in mind. In the ELC, interactions, autonomy, explorations, curiosity and communication are highly valued. The framework of the Early Childhood and Elementary School is the Primary Years Program which is noted as being the first curriculum developed for international primary schools. Navigate through the Curriculum Overview section to find out about the IB Primary Years Program in an Early Years Setting, Academia related to the Early Childhood Section of AISB, as well as Assessment and Evaluation models. The student support services in the Early Childhood aim to encourage and support those students who might be having emotional and learning needs. Support initiatives include Guidance and Counseling, English as an Additional Language Support, and Special Educational Needs Support. We also offer After School Care for Early Learning students who cannot be picked up immediately after school.
