ARISE Mentoring Program

The mission of the Alliance of Romanian and International School Educators (ARISE) is to contribute to the enhancement of education in Romania. This is accomplished by giving Romanian and International educators the opportunity to work together on a daily basis in a mentoring environment conducive to professional sharing and growth at the American International School of Bucharest.

Teachers selected from the Romanian public educational system will teach, in their area of expertise, alongside a mentoring teacher from AISB for a period of one full academic year. The cross fertilization of ideas will increase the cultural awareness of the teachers involved. More importantly, it will increase dialog and sharing of experience with Romanian teachers about the trends and practices as expressed in current international educational research. The true beneficiaries of this program will be students in Romania, regardless of which school they attend.
