Welcome to the library at the American International School of Bucharest.

Our library boasts a collection of 30,000 volumes as well as access to online resources.

The library is the heart of the school and throughout the year we host art exhibits, guest speakers and special events. If you drop by the library you may find teachers and librarians working together with a class, friends visiting on the bean bag chairs, or IB students deep in concentration in the study room.

We hope to inspire students and adults alike to seek information and ideas for their educational and recreational needs. It is important to us that we help develop an appreciation of literature and a love of reading. At the same time we seek to ensure that our students acquire the necessary information and literacy skills they need to become productive and active learners.

Whatever you hope to learn, we are here to help you find the information you need, or to help you select just the right book for pleasure.

Please stop by to check out a book or DVD, join us for one of our special events or exhibitions, or simply relax in an easy chair and flip through a magazine.
