Admission Procedures

To apply for admission, please complete an application for each child and submit it to the Admission Office. You may start by following this link to the Application Forms Pack in PDF format (a separate application for each child is required).

For a student to be admitted to AISB we must have received the following: a signed application form, copy of the student's passport/birth certificate, two passport size photographs, school records from the past three years (English translation where applicable), completed and signed Student Reference form, and the medical form.

You will receive confirmation of admission, or placement in a waiting pool if a class if full, from the Admission Officer. When a place becomes available, admission of students from the waiting pool takes into consideration a variety of factors such as: compliance of the student with the AISB admission criteria, student's priority status, class composition, level of EAL support required, etc. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the school year and families are encouraged to make an appointment for an interview and tour of the school. No student can be admitted for the current school year after May 1.

Places can only be guaranteed by signing an Enrollment Contract and paying all tuition and fees by the due date noted on the invoice.

Special educational or physical needs must be documented in detail on the Medical Records form (contained in the Application Forms Pack).

If a family wishes to hold an available space but is planning a delayed enrollment date, the place can be held only upon signing of an Enrollment Contract and payment of tuition & fees.

How long is the process?
It normally takes 5 working days to process an application once all forms, school records, etc. are received in the Admissions Office. The admission process may take longer during school holidays as the administrative staff may not be on campus. Your patience during this process is appreciated. Once an applicant is approved for admission the Admissions Officer will notify you by phone, mail or email.
