Summary of the AISB Strategic Plan

In June 2007 the Board of Directors approved the school's Strategic Plan to help guide the future of AISB. The Strategic Planning Committee responsible for developing the plan, and for monitoring its successful implementation, was composed of parents, board members, administrators, faculty and staff. In summary, there are seven (7) key strategic areas and principles outlined in the plan.

Advancement
AISB will communicate a positive and accurate image of the school.

Community
AISB will actively create links among all of the constituents of the school and with the local, national and international communities.

Facilities
AISB will provide competitive facilities that are consistent with achieving and maintaining a high quality learning environment.

Finance
AISB will remain financially sound.

Governance
The board of directors will set policies and act to strengthen the institution.

Human Resources
AISB will attract, develop and retain a quality faculty and staff.

Student Learning
AISB will offer a broad, balanced and academically rigorous education.
