Academics at AISB cover three divisions, namely Early Learning, Primary School, and Secondary School. The Early Learning caters for students aged 2 to 5 in EC2 to Kindergarten. The Primary School welcomes students aged 6-11 in Grades 1 through 5, and the Secondary School includes students between Grades 6 to 12 who are 11-19 years old.
All school sections follow the International Baccalaureate programs of instruction: the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programs, making AISB an IB World school, the first of its kind in Romania.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Rosella Diliberto, the Early Learning section, hosted in a dedicated early learning center opened in August 2017 brings together 135 children between 2 and 5 years old in a dynamic, multinational environment that represents 29 nationalities. Every Early Learning classroom is looked after by a teacher and classroom assistant. AISB Early Learners benefit from their own Library, Music Room, Cafeteria, Winter Garden, Gym and Health Office as well as spacious outside play areas.
