Arrival and Dismissal Routines
- ARRIVAL: All students are expected to arrive to school by 7:55 as instruction begins promptly at 8:00. Staff supervision is available for outdoor early morning play, in designated playgrounds, from 7:15 until 7:55.
- DISMISSAL: All students in EC2-Kindergarten are dismissed from their respective classrooms.
- Early Dismissal Wednesdays
All students are dismissed at 2pm on Wednesdays throughout the school year.
Students are marked late if arrival is after 8:00 am. Students are expected to arrive on time so that important morning routines are not disrupted.
When students are absent, parents should e-mail the EC Administrative Assistant, Cristina Marinescu (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 8am and/or note the absence in ManageBac. Please review the Attendance Policy for more information: School-Wide Attendance Policy
Snack and Lunch
Mid-morning snacks are provided by the school. Parents may opt to bring lunch boxes for their children or purchase meal plans through the school’s contracted dining services in the school cafeteria.
EC2, EC3, EC4 and Kindergarten students eat snacks and lunches in their respective classrooms.
The school provides students with necessary school supplies required for learning.
PE uniforms are optional for all EC students. Parents may opt to purchase uniforms for their children from the school store after September 1st.
Regular and reciprocal communication with our parent community is valued. Parents receive regular updates from the homeroom teachers and specialists’ Weebly pages and Principal’s Weekly Newsletters.
Students are expected to follow the behavioral guidelines as outlined in the Primary Years Program Behavior Policy.
